Terms of Service
Effective Date: November 25, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BlindBoard application ("the App") and the BlindBoard website ("the Website"). By installing, accessing, or using BlindBoard, you ("the User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App or Website.
1. Use of the App
BlindBoard is an AI-powered keyboard application designed for accessibility and productivity on Android devices. The User is solely responsible for how the App is used, including any content created, transmitted, or processed using the keyboard.
2. Access Options
BlindBoard offers two methods for accessing AI-powered features:
- Subscription Plans: Users may purchase a monthly subscription through the Website to access AI features without providing their own API key. Subscriptions are available in Basic, Plus, and Pro tiers, each offering different feature levels.
- Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): Users may alternatively provide their own OpenAI API key to use the App's AI features. This option gives users full control over their API usage and costs.
Users may choose either access method based on their preference. Both options provide access to the App's core AI functionality.
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 13 years of age, or the applicable age of digital consent in their jurisdiction, to use BlindBoard. By using the App or Website, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Users who choose to provide their own OpenAI API key acknowledge and agree to the following:
- The API key is stored locally on the User's device and is never transmitted to or stored on BlindBoard servers
- The key is used exclusively to process the User's requests to OpenAI's services
- The User is solely responsible for all usage charges incurred through OpenAI
- OpenAI's Terms of Use and policies apply to any AI-generated content or processing
BlindBoard is not responsible for OpenAI billing, service outages, or content produced by OpenAI models.
5. Subscriptions
Subscription plans are available for purchase through the Website and are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, the User acknowledges and agrees:
- All payment processing and billing is handled securely by Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis until cancelled
- Refund requests are evaluated in accordance with our refund policy and applicable Stripe requirements
- Access to subscription features may be suspended or terminated for non-payment, chargebacks, or violation of these Terms
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the Website. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Prohibited Use
Users agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the App or any part thereof
- Use the App for any unlawful, abusive, harmful, or fraudulent activities
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the App's functionality, security, or systems
- Use the App in any manner that violates the rights of others
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
BlindBoard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- We are not responsible for any losses or damages caused by inaccurate AI-generated output

The User acknowledges that the App relies on external services (including OpenAI, Firebase, and Stripe) over which we have no control.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate any account that violates these Terms or engages in abuse of the service. Users may delete their own accounts at any time by contacting support or through available account management features.
9. Intellectual Property
